I noticed someone got here by way of a search about cutting one’s own hair. I’ve been meaning to share my good news: I can now put my hair in a pony tail people! See?

So, if you don’t know by now, or are new here, here’s some background on my hair cutting obsession.
And here’s a picture of SM feeding the dinosaurs. They were hungry.

So cute! And that cut-yer-own post is giving me bad ideas. I planned to schedule an appointment with a professional this week, but hell. There will be no salon drama if I just do it myself!
(this is why i should never be left to my own devices.)

Thank you. I’m restraining myself… until last night when I noticed that some of back wasn’t even. But! I resisted! That darn reunion is coming up and I’d like to put my hair up (since it looks pretty lame down).
Think of the money you will save! You can buy that nifty quilt book instead. Just watch out for that still-tacky polyurethane… no one likes hair bits permanently stuck to their floor!

too late! (things i’ve shellacked into the floor: hairs, twigs, grass, lint balls. argh.)
i like your thinking. i’ll cut my own hair this season and get that book, since the library didn’t have it. curse you, library!

Elizabeth,
I am glad to see that you are still growing the hair. If you can do a ponytail, you will have the long flowing tresses before December. For some reason, I have not cut mine either and so far I like it.
More importantly, great pictures of the kid and the dinosaur.
